We began as a mother-daughter (Angela and Ashlyn) team with a love of everything vintage! However, recently we have added a new member to our team, sister and aunt (Suzette). It all started with my own wedding, and our collection of treasures has just multiplied since then! Our vintage and eclectic collections from Echos of Yesterday are handpicked for their charm and uniqueness. We offer a range of services for any budget, including full-service event planning, decor design, day-of coordination, decor rentals, signage, and consultations.
From vintage chic to rustic glam, we will bring your dream to life. We enjoy bringing a little vintage flair to any event, whether it be a wedding, private event party, photo session, baby shower, or just an intimate dinner! Our goal is to create an environment that is warm, welcoming, strikingly beautiful and completely unique to you, our client. And we don’t just pick design elements because they look good. We pick them because they tell a story – your story.
Meet Ashlyn
When I was planning my own wedding I knew I wanted our “big day” to be a beautiful, laid back and fun party that everyone would talk about for years to come. It was going to be a true reflection of my husband to-be and myself. When I started looking for venues I despised the idea of having “set colors” or having my only choices be white, ivory or black linens, this candle centerpiece or that, and so on. It wasn’t until I realized that the best reflection of myself and my husband was in the country, flea markets and the back of old barns that I was able to really get down to business. After finding the perfect pieces that “spoke” to both of us, the wedding just came together. The art of pulling together a wedding at home and making it feel effortless is something I thrive on. Sometimes it is one single item that makes your look, or a combination of smaller items, whatever it be…make it be YOURS! My favorite part of the job is finding these perfect items for you! I get all giddy just thinking about ?
I have a real appreciation for antique, vintage, shabby chic and dreamy detail oriented items. My favorite finds have come from barns and back woods places. I would LOVE to just travel the country and pick through old barns, and flea markets someday.
Some other things I totally love: My husband, my daughters Leighton and Landree, my mom (who helps me with every aspect of this company and life in general), my antique library ladder in my living room, Chip and Joanna Gains, my English Mastiff Jettson, Washington State, my iced coffee every morning, and of course… all the little details at weddings!
Meet Angela
A perfect day for me is spent antiquing, curling up with my Americano and a good book, and dreaming about new projects whether it be a house remodel, a wedding, or something new for our business. In fact, my husband’s dreaded words are “I have an idea.” Some of my favorite things (in no particular order) are: my family, cooking, Sunday family dinners, my wonderful grandkids my sweet Boxer Mowgli, the smell of fresh herbs and working in the dirt amongst the flowers.
You might say I was born a hundred years too late. I love everything about the turn of the century: the nostalgia and simplicity, the decor, and the good old-fashioned lifestyle. I adore all things vintage, rustic, chipped, and delicate. Friends and family always teased me that I should go into the restaurant business (check!) or the business of party planning and designing. And since my daughter, Ashlyn, is a chip off the ol’ block (the love of nostalgia and parties must be hereditary!) we’ve decided it’s time to expand our creative visions…to you! We love being able to collaborate with others who want to add a touch of vintage to their celebrations!
Meet Suzette
I am a Wyoming native, but just recently moved back to Laramie after being away (Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Colorado) for 30 years. But those 30 years have been jammed pack full of bliss…
I am a wife, mom to three wonderful, now grown adults, grandma (AKA MiMi) to two amazing little grandbabies, and party planner extraordinaire. As long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for planning events. I am the go-to person to help plan dinner soirees, holiday parties, and family and friends’ weddings before joining the Echos of Yesterday team. I am so excited to see where this new adventure will take me…but most importantly I get to do it with my sister and niece!
A few of my other loves in life, snuggling up with a good book next to my fire place, a long soak in my hot tub at dawn, traveling, my sweet lab fur babies, wine, learning the holistic lifestyle, painting/creating something wonderful, Halloween, Christmas and of course ENTERTAINING.
